Found out a bit of intersting cat info today...
Was clearing out my great gran's (the one with the siamese) attic today and found all her VERY old siamese books, and was glancing through (mainly for looking at the pictures of how the siams used too look back in the sixties lol) and came across a breeding section, and was reading about queens in call when i read this..
A female cat is called a queen for good reason, and it has nothing to do with royalty! It comes from the old word quean, meaning whore or hussy. When you have a queen in call and witness her free romancing attitude, see her paddling her back legs and exposing her rear end, this makes sense!
