Bob Martin New Ultimate odour control, I couldnt get my normal litter. This one is ment to last alot longer. Up to 10 times more effective at absorbing odours than other cat liters. 4L = 28 days.

Well I'll tell you how it goes. It looks like polistirene balls. It's soft on there paws. It doesnt clump. Sounds wonderfull doesnt it?
Anyone tryed it?

One thing I have noticed, they dont kick it all over the floor like they do with the other stuff. Could be a good sign.

Re new cat liitter, wait for your verdict. It sounds ideal for my cat. where is it available from? I couldn't see it in Asda the other day.

Mkb 19 (also known as Whiskers mum).

I got it in Morrisons last night. I was not impressed by the small box but didn't like the other brands they had on offer. However, I can see now why the box was only 4L. I have two cats and it has ben in use since last night. I have emptied the "lumps" and I'm well impressed so far.
The only down side at the moment is when they scatter it, it is slightly more difficult to sweep up as it's light and moves.....but there not scattering it as much as they do with others. Like I say looking good so far.

Might just give that litter a go. Although Eva might panic about the noise, such a sensitive scaredy puss she is;)

i not seen this, we dont have a morrisons in my horrid little town. it sounds good though. My SIL uses netto, keep trying to tell her she wasting her money, cos she changes it twice daily, having four cats. tried to exlpain that although costs more catsan last longer, as i have found. I noticed at wood gren they use stuff that looks like fish food pellets lol, not sure if it wood one. IS that stuff any good?

The siamese breeder gave me a bag of litter I haven't tried before. It is like crystals and soaks up the pee. Is supposed to last 1 adult cat 1 month. The reason she gave it me is because you can see at a glance the colour of the pee, she thought it would help me keep my eye on Clooney :)

Thanks Donna, he seems to be doing ok. Have only just put the new litter in the tray so will have to wait to see what colour he is peeing :? :-D

She actually uses the wood pellet type litter...she raves about it! saying it is excellent for training the kittens..

It sounds really good, Jac. I use Worlds Best Cat Litter as it is long lasting and it can be flushed down the toilet, great help especially for the binmen.

i have tried it cant really remember what i thought but i know it didnt last me as long as 10L of catsan (and i only had Scarlott at the time)

i have tried worlds best and love it, its does cost more to buy but does last a lot lot longer, i have only tried the 17lb bag and it lasted me longer then it said it would for 2 cats, its say it would last (i think) 30 days it lasted 6 weeks and after u get ride of the clumps there was no smell at all
i have just started using catsan again and HATE it now and i am waiting for my next bag of world best

The vet thinks cystitis brought on possibly by a dry diet / not drinking enough water. He doesn't eat meat like the others, only biscuits. So I am addressing his dietry issues at the minute :?

I will go back to my usual cat litter after this has cleared up. I don't think I would want to use the crystals all the time but they have been good for this current problem I am having :)
