Hiya

I am a newbie. I have 2 cats of my own, Ginger, a 14 year old male and Pebbles, an 11 year old female. I also foster for a local charity, so have 2 long term fosters, Tom, a 12 year old male who has just been put on the rehoming list (he was severely obese when he came 6 months ago), and Molly, a 13 year old female who will live her life out with me (although her recent blood tests show she is perfectly healthy, so that could be years). I am also currently looking after 2 cats for a woman I work with as she had sold her house and didn't have one to move into - she is signing contracts on Mon though, so they should be going very shortly. I only take on oldies, and had to bend my own rules last year when I was asked to take Pebbles on as I don't class 10 as being old!! But she seems to have had a hard life, she has been to the vets so many times for various things. Hopefully this will take you to my Photobucket account, where there are pics of current and past cats.

:smt039 Hi Booktigger and a warm welcome to CatPages. Sure you will enjoy it here.
Lovely to hear of your oldies (permanent and temporary). I couldn't access your photobucket but don't worry.
I've got a couple of middle aged ladies (approaching 16 and 18, but have just taken the plunge and decided to get 2 kittens (but of course can't find any at this time of year! )
Anyway, look forward to hearing more of you and your cats.

Hi booktigger and welcome - and good for you, taking on the older cats who often find it so difficult to get homes.
