There might be just a little 'tweak' if the stitches are tangled in scar/scab (sorry!) Only a momentary feeling as each one comes out.
She'll be fine.

What a good girl she's been - and the vet will be pleased it's gone so well. All good experience for other oldies undergoing surgery.

Oh well done Cleo!!! I know from experience having stitches out is no picnic, but as she's been a brave ol' bird so far I'm sure she'll take the whole think in her stride!!

Hugs to Cleo, Kazz!!!

They must itch her like crazy as when you are fussing her; she turns to that side to be scratched/stroked you have to be quick otherwise she has you rubbing the stitches:roll: although she settles for a rub just between the stitches and her ear:D

That wound looks fine Kazz. I always remove the stitches from my dogs and Cats myself, and looking at that, I dont expect Cleo will feel a thing.

Well excellent news the stitches came out with no trouble she never even blinked. all my worrying for nothing.:D slight hiccup to mar the day though the lump he removed not the big one the other nearer her ear but still on her neck has come back and the result is cancer,:( but on the bright side it she is an elderly cat the site where the lump was has healed well and she had no other lumps or bumps - so we are staying with fingers crossed:-D and we'll see how it goes. Hoping he got the whole thing out before it had chance to spread.

So we are happy with the day and brought her two soft fleecy blankets in cream for her chair and the computer table.

Glad the stitches came out well Kazz and hope Cleo enjoys her soft fluffy blankets. I bet she is enjoying all the fuss and attention she is getting. Dont worry about the other lump - she is happy and enjoying her life with you x

Hmm, mostly good, some not so good then, BUT - good that she had the big non-cancer cyst, which made you go to the vet to find the little thing, hopefully nice and early.
Fingers crossed it's all out & brings no more trouble.

Well done Cleo

I doubt that Emma she hardly goes enough to warrant that till this cyst. We have had about 19/20 of their 23 years without them seeing the vet at all either of them.:-D
