As you know Moli is being spayed in the next couple of weeks and last Thursday i sent off my application for a voucher from the CPL, it arrived this morning so I'll be £20 better off which is just what I needed right now.

Moli's op is now only going to cost me £7-50 :D

DM - that is one that is scheduled for 'doing'. We have been running the 'Great Reading CP Neuterathon' since Nov 04 and it's ongoing. Basically it's something that is so needed coz even though vouchers are being utilized there is still a glut of kittens waiting to be homed. Go figure!!

I'm telling as many people as i can about the voucher. After talking to some of them they seem to think that you have to be receiveing Working Families Tax Credits and not 'means tested' benefit like Incapacity Benefit etc

So how does it work then? What or how is it tested? Sounds good to me.

At our CP we ask that someone produces evidence that they are receiving SOME kind of support, however essentially we will offer vouchers to most that apply coz we'd rather a cat got neutered than not.

Well I get Incapacity Benefit. Will I qualify?

JAc - I guess all CP branches operate autonomously on this question. I think if you can demonstrate it's difficult for you to make ends meet then you've got a case for a voucher - not sure if that's your situation or not . . .

I would just ask the question - nothing ventured nothing gained!

Jac i also get Incapacity Benefit and I got a voucher. I sent them a copy of a letter from the DWP showing i get Incapacity Benefit and a bank statement

I did it through the post/online form. I was allowed two £20 vouchers for my two. I am on my own with the kids and work part time. I get working family tax credit, but they only wanted proof of my income which is not that much. Sent them some photocopies of my payslips (not on any benefit as such but they allowed me vouchers).:-D
