Today on ebay i saw an ioniser that pets WEAR around thier necks, i think thats going a bit too far

What's it supposed to do?
Does it reduce human allergic reaction?

Apparantly the units are attached to the pet's collar or placed near the pet's bed. Here are the alleged benefits of a pet ioniser..
