I use Photobucket too; took forever to get photos IN & now can't get them OUT!! How long did it take you to figure out...Read their tutorial the one on this site about posting piccies & the one on another site I'm on, plus helpful messages from several users...thought the problem might be that I have a Mac, not a PC, so e-mailed & the info they sent back didn't help at all!!! I guess I'm just inept at this:cry:
The thing with uploading photos is the image size if the size is very big it takes along time to load them onto the photobucket server but if you reduce the image size first then put them onto photobucket ;) I don't think apple mac should have anything to do with it :?
i dont know anything about mac's. i know very little about pc's lol.
Sorry, cant help you more!

Thanks, Tomcat, I have no problem getting piccies into Photobucket, but the problem I have is generating the IMG code...nothing I do seems to work...I have dial-up, but problem isn't apparently image size, but how to generate thst dratted IMG code:cry:

Thanks, CJK; I got a Mac because it was supposedly more user-friendly than a PC, as well as being more impervious to viruses, etc. actually it IS easy to use; the problem is with the Photpbucket instructions; I e-mailed the about the problem & they were kind enough to e-mail me back with EXACTLY the same instructions that were on the page & that didn't work:roll:  I think I need to find someone with a teenager who understands this stuff...:D
lol.my 7 year old knows more than me, which isnt really difficult.
Thank god for a hubby who works with pc's. Even though we seperated he still fixes it all the time for me.
He built this one actually, smart **** that he is
