good news folks :smt026 - Today me & hubby went to the garden where the family of mom & kittens are. (One ginger kitten is with us already) We caught mommy & all the other 3 kittens & they are now all back here with me.

There is a black and white one who is fine,:)
there is a black one who is very spitty & hissy & will strike at you,:?
then there is a tabby one who bites, when I say bite - I don't mean a kitten nip, I mean a "sink your fangs in & keep 'em there" type bite:roll:

But no probs - I think they are about 5 weeks old - so plenty time for socialisation & I'm confident that before long they should be easy to handle. Another few weeks & it would have been a different story.

They've had a bath (I know this stresses them out - but if you could get a wiff of their pong - you'd bath them) They were ok & are now asleep on their snuggle pads. They have all had pilchards for tea.
Once they are dry I will frontline them & reunite them with ginger kitten who has really missed them all.:)

Mommy is fine, thin & hungry - but purring away. :)

Thankyou Em - and you will all be pleased to know they have all now been frontlined, filled their bellies and have used the litter tray (how do they know they need to go in the tray - amazes me every time) and are now snoozing on their vetbed under their heatlamp, I've just tucked them all up for the night - I got hissed & spat at - that's the thanks I get:-D
they've had such a busy day today - Oh & I forgot to tell you all when we left the house with them, the retired man from the house started to cry as he will miss them - his wife said he hasn't been sleeping at night worrying about them, my husband reassured them to worry no more - & that we would look after them all over Xmas and find them nice new homes after the New Year. I said I would phone & let them know how they are getting on.:)

smudgley
10-12-2005, 12:45 AM
Ok then we'll call them
Henry,
Harry,
Havoc (although Gnasher would be more suitable:-D )

and - Is Happy a girlie name? :?We have a few bitches at work called Happy, never a boy though.

Fran
10-12-2005, 12:49 AM
Hmmm not sure?? One of the seven dwarfs was Happy and he was male :-D

smudgley
10-12-2005, 12:52 AM
OK Happy it is, he is happy now he's with his litter mates.

He's been crying the last couple of days - loud meows in the night - think he wanted his friends. I wouldn't put them with him until they had been freshened up & then frontlined, they are all together now though.

Happy - ginger
Henry - black & white
Harry - black
Havoc - tabby

Wish I could post a picture of Havocs teeth & Harry's claws.:-D They are a pair of grumpies, but at least they have come in at this age so they should be easy enough to tame.:smt023
