Hi everyone,

Could you let me know what kind of litter you use? There are so many types out there my head's in a spin!!!! What are your opinions?

Thanks!!

I use the pressed wood 'pellet' type. It smells nice and it's easy to see when it needs changing as it turns back to sawdust when wet.
On the down side, I believe it can be a bit hard on their feet and (this probably applies to all litters) my monster does spill it (or bring it out on her feet) sometimes.
If I was starting afresh with a cat who would use the tray all the time ( a new 'indoor' cat) I would investigate the 'everlasting' litter/tray system. I don't know enough about that now.

Not much help, but I'm always happy to natter! http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_1_10.gif

You'll probably be none the wiser Sam...as so many different ones were discussed  :-D but it'll give you an idea and something to base your decision on ;)

Just wanted to say ( coz I didn't contribute to the other thread), that I have always used Pettex and find the clumping function brilliant. It doesn't produce too much dust and doesn't tend to stick to the cats' feet.

I tried the pink stuff once or twice and it ended up everywhere!!
