Thank you for your responses. She was only six weeks old (her breeder lied and said she was ten) and very ill. The vet said that she was never meant to live that long if it was not for our love of her!
Anyone reading this please learn from my mistake and go to a reputable breeder, it may seem easier not to, but you will save yourself from so much heartache. If only one person follows this advice she won't have died in vain.

She was quite frail and it used to make me feel so powerless, at least she is free from any pain now.

I am so sorry you had to go through losing your beautiful little girl so young. As a breeder I would like to say please always go to a reputable breeder. Such breeders are not allowed to let a kitten go before they are 13 weeks old and fully vaccinated. It really annoys me that these rules are not adhered to it is for the kittens benefit. My thoughts are with you.
