Just got back from the vets with the little ones

They seem in good health but I've had to debug them, worm them and micro-chip them. They've just cost me £67-00

The flea treament I got was the Frontline Spray, what fun I had treating the kittens with that stuff  Worming them wasn't a problem, they were licking the syringe

Glad the little ones are in good health Nae...the easiest way of using flea spray on kittens and indeed cats is to put on surgical gloves, spray the Frontline onto the gloves and massage it into the kitties fur. It is usually the sound and effect of the spray that they object to so this way it is much less traumatic for the kitties and less stressful for you too!

The flea spray worked anyway, found loads of dead fleas on Sox but nothing on Moli :? She didn't have half as much flea poo on her mind. Everyone at the vet's fell in love with them, one of the receptionists nearly took Moli home with her. The kids weren't impressed

Their poo is really runny and smelly at the mo, I'm thinking that's got something to do with the worming stuff I've given them :?

Sounds like it could be Nae...what did you worm them with?

Panacur liquid from the vets. Looks almost like cream.

yes thats kittens for you, i asked about it on another cat site (a breeding1) and they said it was cos of what i was feeding her (tinned food) so i slowly changed her on to raw same as the dogs with burns dry food and it stayed the same :( but i have also been told that they grow out of it

Panacur liquid can cause runny tummies :( You have to be very exact with young pups and kittens that they have exactly the right amount for their weights. I used puppy drontal to worm my pups this time and wouldn't now go back to Panacur..

They have had to have 0.5ml each a day for 3 days. Tomorrow is their last worming dose. They are on dry food at the moment cos the previous owner told me the tinned stuff gives them the runs.
