I bought a couple of blueberry plants early this year and , because we live on chalk+++, have grown them in ericaceous compost in largeish tubs.
They've been great, have grown like crazy from basically a handful of twigs, have produced berries and now are turning colour beautifully.

Just thought I'd share. If you live on acid soil I'd say - go for it - simple, attractive and delicious!:cat21 If you live on chalk like me they seem to be quite happy in tubs.
