Buttons is a gorgeous white and ginger boy who is approximately 4 years old http://www.thehovel.com/bb/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif He really needs a home on his own as he isn't brilliant with other cats or dogs for that matter. He can tolerate cats that are not in his space but quite likes to give them the odd whack if within swiping distance http://www.thehovel.com/bb/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif He isn't the friendliest of cats either so if you have a lap cat in mind, Buttons definitely isn't the one for you. He really needs an owner who can put up with him being a little bit anti social, maybe in time a more loving side will come out in him. He does let you give him a fuss but you also have to be aware that he can turn, usually with a bite or swipe. He has had a rough ride the last few months and it would be so nice for him to have a home that he call his own. If you can give him the time, love and patience I'm sure he will settle down. If you are interested you can contact me via my profile http://www.thehovel.com/bb/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif He is in Flintshire, North Wales if anyone wants to give him a chance http://www.thehovel.com/bb/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Have you put ads in all the local vets and pet shops. I had to rehome two cats recently and that worked quite quickly. I live in Anglesey so if you wanted me to I could put some up here for you, it might generate a bit more interest. let me know what you think Dee.

Oh I hope he finds a loving home :( poor little chap. I have a full house but will keep an ear to the ground (even though I'm quite a distance from where Buttons lives).

Is he an indoor cat or does he likes to roam outside?

Sorry I haven't been able to get on her for a bit because of problems with modem.

I am helping out the lady who runs Flintshire rescue try and dind a home for him. Since he has been in rescue he has been indoors only and he seems fine with that.

This is an update from the lady who runs the rescue

Buttons has settled down a lot now that he's been here a few weeks......he has really come on well and quite enjoys his fusses now. He will tilt his head to one side and let you tickle his ears.........this is a big improvement to when I first got him in. I still want a home for him where he can be allowed to go at his own pace, I'm sure he will get there in the end. He's took to sprawling out on our bed with the other cats and he has been no trouble at all apart from the odd swipe if any of the cats get too close. I feel he would still be better on his own and definitely no young children.........I still wouldn't trust him too much just in case, My kids are 13 and 16 and he will let them fuss him but again, you have to be on your guard just in case

I'm sure there is someone, somewhere who will fall in love with him He has had a rough time and he really needs somewhere he can call home, with someone with a lot of patience and love to give. I'm sure in time, Buttons will in return, be a loving companion for someone.

If you are interested in Buttons or would like more information pleasre contact Dawn on
