I have a 3 year old deaf, white, female cat. She was a rescue from stables, both parents were feral, though you would not know that from her! She is a real lap cat! She goes outside (as I live in the country, no through roads around), but is never away for long.
She disappeared for 3 days and just came back tonight. I am really worried about her and am off to vets first thing tomorrow! :( She is just really lethargic, head down and skulking close to the ground! I have stroked her and felt her all over, there are no wounds or tender spots. Her eyes are very mucky, have cleaned them with cotton wool. She does not feel hot, her breathing is fine. I put some food down for her and she nibbled a little bit but not much.:(
She does not seem to be in pain! Dont know what to think really! All vacinations etc are up to date.:( :(

No, I put food down for her and she had a tiny nibble and then jumped on the floor and sat there, head down till I came and picked her up!:(

I wonder if she has got caught in something, like branches or some wire and scared herself. I would be tempted to ring the vet tonight - but not being able to see her you are the best judge.
Hope she's okay soon after a nice sleep in the warm.

It's difficult to think what could be wrong with her....like others have said your best bet would be to get your vet check her over first thing in the morning....hope she is feeling better soon. Let us know how she gets on......

I hope your cat gets better soon - its so difficult to even hazard a guess at what could be wrong - but keep us all updated about her condition and what the vet says

She is still really quiet and lethargic. She is not eating or drinking anything.:( I have a vets appointment this afternoon.
She usually comes and wakes me up for some fuss in the middle of the night, but she just slept right through.:(

I have just got back from the vets and he has no idea what is wrong with her! She started wobbling her head whilst we were there and he said that was dehydration and temperature! She has a temp of 103.9! :( Poor girl! He has given her antibiotic and anti inflammatory injections. I am to keep her in and pamper her!:)
The thing he cant understand is the dirt she came back covered in, turned out to be flea dirt.  There were no fleas on her and she is up to date with frontline. We think she may have been trapped down a rabbit hole or something? Really dont know where she has been.
