I want his last few (hopefully) remaining years to be discomfort free if I can't do that then I will not let him carry on he has been a good cat - and he and his sister Cleo deserve the best I can do for them even if that breaks my heart but I won't let them be miserable. So I am pleased this has worked for now. :-D
