Amaryllis


My first Amaryllis has flowered. This is 'Red Peacock'

It has 6 florets to open.

Oops as I was taking this Kinsi decided to attack it. (now only has 5 florets - wee monster)


Other two still progressing. One won't be too long. The 3rd is only about 2 inches high. Growing v slowly.

That's a stunner! I hope you told Kinsi that mum was not amused! I'm blessed ...Leia doesn't bother plants at all. Look forward to pics of the nest ones!

She generaly is not too bad. I think it was because my camera on autofocus has a wee red light that shines on the focus area and she just couldn't resist. Have to admit I was a bit (quite a big bit actually) annoyed at her. C'est la vie I suppose.
