Breeze May 1994 to 16 February 2006

Today I lost my beloved Border Collie Breeze at 14.55pm.
He was mine from 10 weeks old and was a joy, he was born in May 1994 and was a beautiful gentle giant who loved all animals except sheep he just walked on by.
He lived with my parents for 6 years due to me working and I had my gentle boy before I met Robin and he got a ready made family in Sweetie and the late Toerag and Breeze, his first 4 footed kids. He came to us 8 years ago and lived with firstly 8 cats and then to the current 37 and all the fosters in betweeen he loved kittens and they loved him in fact everything under 7 is this house has shared his bed and food bowl.

He leaves behind his "ears" Jazz the Jack Russell as Breeze was deaf she became his ears and was his best friend, she is currently on the couch with Robin and 6 cats.
In his later years Breeze was crippled with arthritus and Rimadyl gave him back his legs and jazz covered the ears section and until 2 weeks ago he was still walking 8 miles a day and playing football in the snow.

The vet came to the house with a vet nurse and helped my boy on to the bridge where he joins his brothers Toerag, Haggis and Moose and his sister Hissy Holly. I have to say all the cats were in the house on his passing and the ferals in the family room gave him a banshee yowling session and even the ferals didn't run today all stayed in place as a mark of respect for their "Big" brother. Even Tyson our stray stayed still in the paddock till the vet left.

He is being creamted and will join the others in our bedroom till the garden of remembrance is made in the spring and summer.

So run free Breeze of Fetternear, Ardoch and Cowden we will miss your gentle ways and above all your gentle spirit, so Tears from Mummy and Daddy and Woofs from Jazz and Purrs from the Clan Cats - Domestic, Feral and Pedigree
