Re: Chester and North Wales

I echo what CM said, but beware if the shows in the UK have cats available from the various rescues there as we do. It's heartbreaking to see the lovely cats to be rehomed and not want to take them all home!

Re: Chester and North Wales

I have yet to find a cat show within a decent distance to get to and back in a day. You see, we don't get all the benefits living here in the South! I think there's a show at Lewes which is OK distance wise. I'd rather go to a general-type show rather than breed specific.

Re: Chester and North Wales

I've never been to anything but an all-breed show. Seeing so many breeds I'd only seen in cats magazines (or never even heard of!!) was amazing. First time I saw Korats, Egyptian Maus, Scottish Folds and Exotic shorthairs. I was lucky that I came with my breeder friends as a "helper" so didn't have to pay!

Re: Chester and North Wales

Just a note that there is a Cat Show in the Northgate Arena (Chester) tomorrow.
