Missing Cat

Mum's cat has gone missing, he went out yesterday evening after refusing food and being a lot more loving than usual like he was saying goodbye and there's been no sign of him since then. He's an elderly boy (approximately 11 years old) and has a problem with his back legs so he walks oddly.

The neighbours haven't seen him (we asked and they checked their garages and sheds), no one has been able to find him. I can PM further details to anyone around East Yorkshire who thinks they may have seen him (it's unlikely he's gone far though)

He's got a white streak on his chest which won't be obvious at first glance and his left ear is torn from where he had a fight before Mum adopted him.

He's a nervous boy and is likely to act timid towards strangers, if you see him anywhere please message me on Catsey so I can let Mum know there's news of him and we can arrange to get him back.

Thanks for any help - Mum's frantic with worry and just wants him back.

Fingers crossed that he's just gone for a wander, sometimes they do in summer x

Re: Missing Cat

Posters have gone up, neighbours still haven't seen him. We started advertising in the next town as well just in case there's anyone there who has seen him, we asked the rescue we got him from to put a missing cat poster up in their charity shop window.

Re: Missing Cat

So sorry to hear this, poor lad. Your mum must be beside herself. Let's hope he's just shut in somewhere. He's getting on a bit so should be ok with the roads but does he cross roads at all that your mum knows of?. I ask because if he has a problem with his back legs he may find it hard to move away from things as quickly as he'd like, but hopefully just shut in somewhere. Two cats on Catsey now have gone missing in the school holidays(!), a time when families go away and secure their dwellings, so keep asking.
The posters should help; someone, somewhere must know something.

Re: Missing Cat

We've contacted everyone near where Tom went missing, the vets know as well, still no sign of him.
