Daily Thread / Monday

Morning all, dry day here again. Not much planned but the usual. Hoping I might hear from the dentist about Em's tooth today but did get the first full night's sleep in days last night, so I am assuming the antibiotics are finally working despite the fact that she only has one or two more left to take

Hope you all have a lovely day today whatever you are doing

Beautiful blue skies here this morning! I'm off shortly for a hospital appointment with Sebastian. He's to see an orthopaedic specialist due to the way he was delivered (hoiked out by the leg during the emergency c-section). They need to check hip/spine allignments.

As it's lovely out, I think I'll walk. It'll be about 40 minutes, but will avoid the scrum when parking and also the exorbitant parking charges!!

Catch you all later

Damp and gloomy here today, heavy rain forecast for later

Have been into town this morning trying to get on top of the Christmas shopping .......I'm getting there though! I'm getting slightly concerned that a DVD I ordered for my g/daughter hasn't arrived yet even though it has passed the date I was given

Have a good day all!

Fran: glad Em's tooth is better(so is mine!); Yola: how did Seb do? Bitter cold here today, was 32F when I went to market and wind chill of 26F!! Worried about Onyx who apparently isn't using the shelter I put out for her, but she's appearing regularly for her meals...hope she's keeping sheltered somewhere; this is awful weather for a little cat to be outside....... Have a good evening, all....

Eileen - Seb got the all clear, thanks for asking! I suspected there was no problem with his hips, but now just need to keep putting him on his tummy to strengthen up his neck and back muscles so he's strong enough to start sitting up on his own.

Oh joy. He screams blue murder when on his tummy . . . .
