Adoption

Hi, I am new to this site and unsure where to post but this seemed the obvious place to start. I have recently had to relocate (not through choice) and am living in accommodation that is not pet friendly. I have a beautiful tabby Tom who is sixteen years old that I am trying to find a home for on either a temporary or permanent basis. The owner has been working abroad for eight years so I have been the foster but am unable to at present.
He is old but completely there, loves attention but sleep is his favourite sport. Completely house trained as you would expect from a cat of his age and has been insured, and will continue to be, since birth. The owner is also happy to pay all maintenance costs (food, vets bills that are too small to go through insurance.
At the moment he is in a rescue based cattery/kennels in Bucks. He is surrounded by baying dogs and this is not how I wish him to spend his last years. His owner is returning to the UK next Spring and would love to have him back but would understand if a person wanted permanent adoption.
Perhaps if you know of an elderly person that recently lost a cat but is scared of the commitment to a younger cat. He really does have a wonderful temperament and is still so very handsome.
I'm sorry if this is a lot longer than a normal post but I really want to try and do right by him.

Many thanks for reading this,

Lee
