Home Offered - 2/3 outdoor cats- Ireland

Home offered to 2 or 3 feral/semi-feral or outdoor cats on my smallholding.

Cats will have their own outbuilding, with sofa, beds and bowls in, with cat flap to the outside.

We have a 30 acre smallholding and are surrounded by forest and woodland, nearest road is 1/2 mile away.

We are in Ulster, Ireland.

How nice that you can offer a nice home to the type of cat that may normally be difficult to rehome.
Hope you find some suitable candidates soon.

Unfortunately it seems to be difficult to find any feral/semi ferals to rehome here. They seem to TNR them all and only rehome indoor cats.

I've been in touch with a group in Galway that rehome ferals but we are too far away for them, and been in touch with the national feral cat group to see if anyone rehomes to my area but no luck yet.

Fingers crossed for you .... I'm sure there must be ferals out there just longing for a comfy billet.

Gosh, I wish you were in Christchurch, NZ. Here there are so many feline casualties of the quakes roaming the Red Zone, They are all beautiful cats too. Anyway, good on you for wanting to rehome a couple of semi-feral kitties.

I know that my local Cats Protection often have ferals or semi-ferals to rehome, but as I'm in Berkshire that's not much use to you! I do wish you luck and it's great that you can offer such a home for cats that would otherwise be out on the streets.

I'm sure you will get the right cat/s for you eventually. I think cats have a grapevine and know when there is a 'vacancy' at a good home.

Wyrd - i can get you any amount of semi ferals in Ulster - can you PM me please & i will give you contact details. Homes for semi ferals are very hard to come by & your situation sounds ideal

There are only some Fosters rehome to indoor homes & those are pet / companion cats not ideal to living outside. There are lots of Fosters home to in/out homes.

The wee semi ferals would thrive so long as their basic needs are met & they have shelter & regular food.
