Harry

Harry began to loose weight 8 weeks ago but was still eating. We had all blood work done, i really thought it would come back as a thyroid problem. But all clear apart from a infection. A course or antibiotics and he started putting weight on, slowly as he was 15 years old. Three weeks ago he started loosing weight again. Back to vets full cheek over and found nothing. Started feeding him kitten food, he never went off his food. Two weeks ago he went back to vets for a check up, i had found a small lump beside his nose. It turns out it was a tumour and it was spreading to the roof of his mouth. We brought him home as he was still eating and happy. I told vet when he goes off his food we will call it a day.
Last Thursday i decided the time had come, although he was still eating i could see he was uncomfortable.
It was such a hard decision to make and i miss him like crazy.
Sorry i couldnt help you anymore Harry.
RIP Harry, we will always love you xx

Re: Harry

I'm very sorry Lyn. It's a heartbreaking decision to have to make, but the best one for Harry. He's free of pain and discomfort now.
