Desert Orchid

I'm not a great horse racing fan but, having lived in Cheltenham for years, I think I ought to mark the passing of this 27 year old beauty.

Re: Desert Orchid

He was fab, i loved him. A true "great" in the horse racing world, a steeple chaser of the highest order along with Red Rum, Arkle etc.. I always loved to see him "tow" his handlers round the paddock and them TRY to restrain him when he paraded down the race course, an absolute legend.
dawn.
