Re: Hot Cross Bun Testing

Yum, all this talk about Hot Cross Buns is making my mouth water. Personally, I love the chocolate HCB's ,slightly warmed in the oven and dripping with butter. Totally decadent!

Re: Hot Cross Bun Testing

I can't get warmed up about HCBs. Don't get me wrong, I'd eat one if it were offered but I don't go out of my way to buy them ... consequently I can't really comment on the comparisons. Probably the last one I had was a Waitrose gluten free HCB but can't remember whether I was impressed or not.

Re: Hot Cross Bun Testing

The M&S ones are the best I've tried. Some nice variations too, such as Bramley Apple and cranberry and orange. Yummy. Tesco and Morrisons are good too, usually lovely and fresh, but can't beat M&S in my opinion!
