Want to be a perfect homemaker?

Heard this on the radio as I was unable to sleep last night
www.flylady.net
Seems a bit Utopian/Stepford Wives to me, but you might find some handy hints

Re: Want to be a perfect homemaker?

Just scanned the home page . . . I think this website could do with taking a bit of it's own advice and de-cluttering it's verbose content somewhat . . .

But seriously - don't you think that people who need someone else to tell them to shine their sink really do need to sort themselves out???

And what if you don't have a sink that can be 'shined' (stone/enamel etc)? Does that mean that you are forever to remain in a limbo that is labelled as 'inadequate'???

Really good section there with 100's of gift ideas for children right through to grandparents.......could have done with that a month ago!
Put in in my favourites too for a more intense read later!

Re: Want to be a perfect homemaker?

What worries me is the number of recommendations for 'family tickets to the zoo' as a childrens' present. Now; I have a problem with zoos personally . . . unless their completely animal-welfare rather than profit focused . . .

I will have a deeper look at it when I have a moment to browse the site in detail however as a brief viewing may be doing it injustice

STEP AWAY FROM THE SCARY FLY LADY!!

Seriously have friends on my scrapping forum who love her and others who hate the million and one e-mails you get once you signed up.

Not my cup of tea as life is to short to shine sinks!
