The things we do for our partners

http://www.scotcolour.com/northeast/lairigghru.htm

I am absolutely shattered today. Graham had me up at 4 am this morning . We drove from Aberdeen to Turriff to pick up his mate Dave. We then drove from there over to Aviemore. We arrived at Aviemore at around 7.30 am. I then took the car home to Aberdeen for a few hours sleep then had to drive to Braemar to pick them up again .
All because they wanted to do the Lairig Ghru.
Not interested in their aching limbs, I'm knackered.
Graham took some pics but the transfer thingy from camera to pc isnt working. Pics as soon as we sort that out.

Wow, that's not a walk for the faint-hearted it's a very rugged, hard but beautiful landscape. Did they complete the 28 miles? Was it some kind of marathon-type thing or did they just fancy a long stroll

Edit to say, though - despite protestations Elaine, that must be true love

What beautiful scenery.....that must have been some walk too!

I wouldn't fancy getting caught there in a downpour!
