A MASSIVE thank you to Kazz!!I just want to say a huge thank you to Karen! What for I hear you ask??  Well, thanks to this very lovely lady, Raechel, Hayley and I have just spent one of the most pleasurable days we have had in a long time. Karen phoned me up and offered me her meal out in the Chinese restaurant that she had won!! Said that she wasn't able to make use of it and would the girls and I like it! Would we??? The Oriental, in the Mailbox, was absolutley beautiful. The interior was gorgeous and the food sublime. Hayley managed to astound me by behaving wonderfully and we finished it all off by walking along the canals and listening to all the lovely Jazz music that was being played. Also nipped over to the Bullring lol! I'd haven't been in 10 years so it was rather changed since my last visit  So thank you Karen from 3 very happy, full and exhausted ladies

Oh .........how nice for you and the girls Alex ! That is typical Kazz I would say ......a very kind hearted lady..  No wonder all her neighbours like her!I'm glad you all enjoyed your day out! |

Oh yes kazz, those desserts are utterly sublime!!! Raechel and I both had an ice cream that was covereed in a frozen raspberry sauce, decorated with chocolate disc, raspberry and cherry, and chocolate drizzled all over the plate. Hayley had 3 different scoops of homemade ice cream with wafers and choc sauce! For the starter we had chicken and sweetcorn soup and the girls had sweet and sour chicken for main while I was a little more adventurous than usual and had a green Thai curry!! Absolutley beautiful!! |
