Olivers been hurt..

I let them out on Saturday for a little while, Oliver came back 5 mins late, covered in muck, and he has tufts of fur coming out round his neck, he was holding his head to the side and if anyone went near him growled.....I could not find any injuries, he slept all day saturday and sunday, yesterday he started to eat again, he looks ok, but is very subdued...
He is just not himself...

Re: Olivers been hurt..

Sounds like a cat-fight. Keep checking for sore/swollen places as bites are generally deep but thin so provide excellent growing-places for the nasty anaerobic bugs that cause abscesses.

Hope he sails through with no ill efects, bar a bruised ego perhaps.

Not sure what has happened, he is not keen on going out at ther moment, very quiet but has not swellings or injuries I can find, and is eating ok.....Just let him get over it himself I think...
