Hello!

Hi everyone!

My name is Kate and I am new. I was using a different cat forum, but found it to be really hostile and not very friendly; was recommended this forum as an alternative so here I am!

I got my cat, Rufus a few weeks ago. His owner was having to rehome him because her children were very rough with him and he was frightened. He is an absolute angel - so well behaved and polite. His old owner hadn't had him vaccinated so he had his first set of jabs on Friday and my gosh, was he in a mood with me the next day! He goes back for his second lot and to be neutered in a couple of weeks; he will really hate me then!

Here is my handsome boy:

With my dog/his new best friend Oscar (I was expecting a long introduction process, but the first picture was taken ten minutes after meeting. They took to each other straight away and stick to each other like glue!) :

Hi there Kate! I love your photos of Rufus - what a glorious colour he is - and Oscar. Brilliant that they get on so well so quickly. I look forward to hearing all about them and hope Rufus' second jabs and neuter go well.

Hello Kate, welcome to Catsey

Rufus is gorgeous, how kind of you to take him in. It's so nice to see how quickly he has settled in with Oscar, he is obviously not as rough as young children

Looking forward to hearing more about both of them...

Re: Hello!

Hi & welcome

I had not so good experience with a cat forum too. Catsey is definitely not like that.

Your Rufus is lovely! Beautiful colour. What age is Rufus? He reminds me a bit of our Amber age wise, she is 6 months. Glad he & Oscar get in so well. Well done for a good cat/dog introduction.
