A guess - those friendship succulents that grow like crazy. Don't know what their proper names are though. A bit like Christmas Cactus.

I think you can say that about loads of composers. They have to stretch their wings. Nowadays you can take what you like and leave the bits you don't. I'm having to adjust to that. I always thought that with albums you should take the whole thing as it was the artist's concept, but of course it never was, it was the publisher's. So best trust your own taste every time.
