Saying goodbye.

It is with a heavy heart we have decided to have Deli the dali PTS tomorrow. She has had spondylosis for a while now and we have tried everything- steriods, tramadol, acupuncture, physiotherapy and cartrophen injections- they have all helped in some way but we knew it was only holding things at bay. Over the past week she has been unable to support herself with her back right leg and struggled to stand, never mind walk. We tried a last ditch effort with another acupuncture session and cartrophen but she has deteriorated further. The vet is coming out tomorrow afternoon and Mike is working from home so he can be here. We have only had her for 2 and a half years, she is 14 and half but she has become a large part of the family and we will miss her.
