Dogs Trust open day

Today we took Malaika and Kwame to the dogs trust open day at Merseyside. It was a brilliant doggy day with lots to do and lots of doggy minded people to chat to.
Kwame was such a good boy and was very sociable, he got lots of practice with young children.
Malaika had a go at agility and won a rosette for the prettiest bitch class.
Hope the trust raised lots of money.

Re: Dogs Trust open day

Great photos Shelley - glad you all had a good day. We are thinking about taking Monty to his second fun dog show in a couple of weeks - run by the vet practice we all use in aid of the Cinnamon Trust. He was a good boy at the first show he attended after he got over his initial excitement at so many dogs. Sometimes it seems it's a good thing to bombard them with things! Well done Malaika on her rosette.

Re: Dogs Trust open day

we love going to these fun days, Angie. It's great socialisation for the dogs and we enjoy chatting to doggy people. We saw a lovely minature scnauzer, he was 11 months old.
There were several cat charity stalls as well which we of course were pleased to support.
I won some lovely shower gels on the tombola and bought a wooden pot pouri dish and crystal book.
