Treating yourself

Okay people how do you treat yourselves and how often.

Facials, nails, flowers, footie match, golf - how what and when? ie how often ie a regular basis, weekly, monthly, once year or never?

And sorry to add but if not why not?
Karen

Re: Treating yourself

My treat is a bottle of red vino a night All spare money goes on the children and the pets, so it's rare I have any other treats as such except the occasional meal out

Hubby is a golfer so that's his treat and of course we enjoy showing the cats and that costs us a small fortune!

Re: Treating yourself

No I dont really treat myself to such things, I never have the time or the finances. That said i AM treating myself to an evening at the cinema on saturday to see Sweeny Todd and I should really make an appointment to get my hair cut at some point soon.

Re: Treating yourself

Books, food! No particular timing; just if I happen to feel in need of some cheering-up!

Re: Treating yourself

erm, can't think of any way I treat myself really, I'm a bit like dawn I guess..... couldn't be doing with all that pampering. I'm quite happy mooching round with dogs , cats & chickens! I enjoy taking the girls out for a trip to the cinema & maybe a pizza afterwards, but that's more their treat really.

Re: Treating yourself

I get my hair done reguarly, cut every 4-6 weeks and colour every 8. I love it I get a free stress relieving massage with the colour (head and shoulders, clothes on) and a hand massage (!) with the cut. It perks me up.
Me and OH try to go out for tea once a month too.
I treat myself in between buying nice things, face masks, good bath oil, body lotion, nice wine, usually on offer and that how I justify it, that sort of thing.
Denis gets treated far more!!!! (really need to come back as a cat)

Re: Treating yourself

I dont treat myself due to finances. But if I have any spare cash it goes on something for the children.

Re: Treating yourself

I can't say I treat myself really.......although I like going to the hairdressers, I class that as a necessity rather than a treat..

I would sooner treat others, I get more satisfaction from that..
