Hyperactive cats


Who else has a hyperactive cat today? Dylan's been hyper all morning, I've only just this second got him to relax and calm down a bit. He was getting overexcited about something but I have no idea what. Not a toy I know that.

Our youngest girl Sasha was running all over the house this morning. She was chasing invisible objects on the floor & sneaking up on unsuspecting kitties...silly furries!

Kizzy was more animated than usual this morning, she fairly raced around following me while OH was out with Monty - perhaps she just thought that she'd make the most of time without a dog in the house!

Not Leia! Her spurts of wildness are very rare, she's laid back and relaxed, if not asleep, most of the day.

Tolly goes 'Cracker cat' every so often. He cleared half the ornaments off the mantlepice the other day with what appeared to be an attempt at surfing...... I must give up polishing that. In my limited experience my male cats have had hyperactive sessions more than the females- all neutered so wouldn't have thought hormones?

Both Kizzy and Pip have their "funny five minutes", but less so recently - perhaps they feel constrained by being more dog-alert?
