Inconsiderate time to phone

Had a phone call about the torti kitten last night at 10.30pm
I didn't get to the phone - but the lady left a message
I didn't call her back - I will call today at a reasonable hour!

Re: Inconsiderate time to phone

I guess if people don't work normal hours they quickly forget that the majority run to standard timetables. They also forget that there might be children in the house who need to be taken into consideration when phones/doorbells ring etc

Re: Inconsiderate time to phone

See thats whatI was going to say a few years ago I worked nights for about 9 months and during that time I forgot about normal life I worked 8pm -7am home walk the dog a shower a bit of toast little morning tv then bed. Up about 4-5pm work. But days off I couldn't break the habit do 10.30 at night was midday to me.

Maybe it was inconsiderate but maybe as Yola said someone on a different timescale.

Karen

I used to work 12 hour nights, 8pm -8am four nights a week but but I was always conscious of the fact that not everybody worked these riciculous hours

Re: Inconsiderate time to phone

That was one of my biggest bug bears. People that phoned at stupid O'clock. Some people just dont think but as Yola said sometimes it's due to work. I had a call at about 2am from a guy that had just finished work and was a bit put out that I wouldnt talk to him at that time!
People aaaggghhhh

It's very annoying! When the phone rings at an inconvenient time, I just let the machine take it.......
