We did see this one earlier.... as I was searching.... she didnt seem that impressed... I am sure it would look better on a model in a photo rather than as it is.... she is so hard to please..

Re: Cheap Prom Dresses

Some of the bridal shops that sell the prom dresses get them made in China and then alter them inhouse.

I will be in Emma's bad books if she sees that dress!!! LOL

Came across this website and they have a lot of nice prom dresses although some are quite expensive.

A lot of brides on a wedding forum are using them to make their dresses and there is a lot of good feedback of their work

Wedding thread is here

If you send them a link/picture of that dress they should be able to give you a quote and let you know if they can make a similar dress. The dress will be unique. The bridal dresses are coming out around a third to a quarter cheaper than the bridal shops, they also do prom dresses and are very experienced.

When does Emma need the dress by?
I emailed these people for a quote and the response is:

The answer is yes we are able to make prom gowns and could have this gown to you within 6 weeks if ordered.

The gown from the link supplied would be 100 with free postage

Now just deciding whether its worth the risk getting them to make it, just in case it is not exactly what Emma wants... but it is a lot cheaper than 225!!
