A Bird in the House!

Not great pics. Poor little wren must have gotten in when the porch door was open yesterday as Chris was carrying boxes and bags out. I didn't know it was here till later in the afternoon when we were finished and I was having a glass of wine and on the computer. There were sonme thuds and thumps from the back room as the little thing was flinging itself at the windows trying to get out. I managed to shoo it to the porch with a broom and it was out safely. Needless to say, Madame was very excited!!

I wish I'd been able to catch the expression on Leia's face when she first saw a bird IN her house!

Lucky wren to make it out alive .......

Re: A Bird in the House!

She more than likely thought it was a present from you Eileen - bet she does not get birds at Carolyns

Poor little thing, glad you managed to usher it to safety.

But I do feel for Leia - a bird in the house is not as satisfactory as a bird in the paw.

You do understand, Kazz! No, no birds at Carolyn's, nor mice. Poor Leia's hunting days will be over, I'm afraid! Even if mice manage to get in I doubt if they'll ride the elevator up to the fifth floor .....

You could always get those wind up ones......although they never appeased my two although the very small cloth like ones were a real hit.
