I think thats where you get changed to bathe in the holy water. They wouldnt let me coz they said they were all out of harpoons that day.

Stunning pics; what's the history of that? I have faint feeling St. Winefrid's was in the Brother Caedfel series of books......Ellis Peters ....anyone else read them?

Yes - and seen some of them dramatised. Did you get those programmes in US with Derek Jacobi as Cadfael? I really liked them - good interesting time in history too!
