Luggage weight restrictions

When packing your suitcases to go on holiday abroad, do you ever worry whether your case is within the luggage allowance stated? It's even worse when you return home after buying all your souvenirs etc. Our cases are usually just on the limit but this year our suitcase allowance is only15kg instead of the usual 20kg.

Hopefully there will be no more worries for me as I've just bought a handy little luggage scale off the Internet......it arrived this morning It will take weights up to 44kg (100lbs). It is also small and light enough for us to take with us to ensure we won't have to pay any excess by going over the limit on the return journey

One happy holiday person here!

Re: Luggage weight restrictions

Guess I'll have all this to worry about later in the year when we go to Florida, although we are planning to travel light so that we can buy loads to bring back I'll just pop my cases up to my vets and weigh them on their dog scales

I already have that in mind for Cassie, Elaine ............ weigh the carrier first, get her in her carrier, fasten the carrier onto the scale ...... wait for the beep, then just deduct the carrier from the total .........sounds easy doesn't it ...........but!!!!!

Yeah Getting her into the carrier is another big issue
I normally get on the scales, weigh myself then lift Eva up and deduct my weight from the total. The scales are now broken
