It's Not A Cat, But It Is Hairy.

I've mentioned him a few times before, so...

I'll make it up to you with good cat photos later, I promise. I finally found the charger to my D40 so I can stop taking horrible photos on my digital camera.

What is he? Don't know much about spiders and he looks like he has a slight pinkish tinge to him?

He's a Grammostola rosea, AKA a Chilean Rose tarantula.

oh wow!!! He's cool! I'd love a tarantula, but my eldest daughter is terrified of them.

The tank is indeed escape-free!

He's an absolute sweetheart, really.

I don't think I could ever keep a tarantula but only because I like to be able to cuddle my pets! For the same reason I wouldn't keep reptiles or snakes. I quite like arachnids in general though-I'm the chief 'spider remover' at home and at work because I don't like people to squish them, I'd rather take them outside and save them!

XD Good on you, pinklizzy - every household needs one.

I love having pets to cuddle as well - but I also enjoy having pets to watch. ;3

Two cats, three gerbils, one budgie and one tarantula - and I'm still not satisfied!
