Ralph, not so much a puppy anymore. English Springer Spaniel.

10 months old in about 9 days..can't believe he's getting so near the one year mark, doesn't seem as puppyish anymore..still plays like a goon as springers never grow up, but he just seems so much more 'take it in my stride' rather than 'wow-its new, check it out!'
So handsome, taken this morning.

He desperatley needs trimming up, that hair is an abomonation!!!
And this is my personal favourite..

Thanks Fran, he does have huge feet doesn't he? I'm not quite sure if the age old thing of size of dog by their feet is rellevant anymore to Ralph, although he is quite large..think he's a bit above the standard height actually. But he's lovely regardless!
His sire, Towerbird Arrowhead, was quite a large dog too..Ralph is the image of him.
Hmmn looking back i really should have cropped the last, n my favourite, photo..

Handsome dog, I noticed the large feet also....is he almost fully grown now at 10 months or will he get bigger?

The allotment secretary is a man well into his 70s who lost his old spannel 2 summers ago but, having lost his wife five years previously, just went out an got himself a new pal. (Good for him) A sprocker pup (accidental) called Charlie. He's b&w but nicely spotty too. Cyril used to turn him on his back and say 'but his nickname is Spotted Dick'
