Rover is no more. He lost some of his appetite at the beginning of the month, went to the vet who thought he was fine until she discovered a tumor the size of a grapefruit in his abdomen. He was operated on today but didn't make it past the operating table.

At the moment all I can do is cry and what hurts most at the moment is probably that he had to die hungry. : / He was such a trencher-cat.

I'm so very sorry to read this, Hreow, Rover was such a special cat to us here at Catsey. I used to look forward to his tales of what he had been up to.

He had a well loved life with you and is now at rest.(((hugs)))

I cannot say how sorry I am; Rover was a very special boy; well loved to all of us who knew him. The Chronicles were always looked forward to with a smile ...
