Re: Daily Thread/Saturday

Morning Erin, morning all.
Its a beautiful day out side, not a cloud in the sky and the sun is shinning but i cannt shake off this overwhelming black cloud above me.
Had to force myself out of bed. I hope to shake it off soon coz i hate feeling like this.
Anyway, just having a brew then off to clean litter boxes, hamster tank, hang out washing and do dishes before heading off to see the dogs.
Hopefully a long walk in the fresh air with the dogs will clear my mood.
Catch you all later if I feel in a better humour

Erin - hope your tum's feeling better today. Have you had any more thoughts about alternative therapies?

Elaine - so sorry you're feeling down. I know that too well and sometimes try and you might the mood won't lift. I hope you manage to shake it off and return to fine form sharpish

Fran - bizzy bizzy Piccadilly Circus in your house today!

I'm just back from the vet with Fifi to have her bloods done and her eyes checked out by the feline opthalmic specialist. Her eyes are fine and her bloods will be back at 12.30** (they do them on site now). If all's well they will start her on a low dose of metacam . . . I've been warned she may turn into a kitten overnight! I walked up to the vet and boy do my arms know it now - that Fifi's one heavy cat

The weather's warm but I think rain's promised but I hope it manages to hold off for a bit as it's nice to be outside.

**Edit to say, bloods all fine . . .starting her on metacam on Monday

Morning all!

Sorry you've feeling bad Elaine - those dogs and a good walk will hopefully do the trick, and Erin yes hope your problems are a bit easier. Fran - just think what will you do to keep yourself amused when those pups go to their new homes - that holiday may be just the ticket!

Grey and nippy here this morning.

Not much planned just gearing myself up for
TONIGHT'S QUIZ - DON'T FORGET PEEPS - 8.00 pm!

Raining here! Took the dog out along the canal earlier-on the other side of the canal, was a cat stalking the ducks, all of whom were totally oblivious! He looked like he was having fun though! Off into town to do some shopping when it clears up a bit (hopefully!) Really want to go to the pet store and start buying things for the new baby but know I shouldn't, its so hard to resist!
Will be back in time for the rugby though! Can't wait!

Hi, all! Rain overnight has left and it's a bright sunny day, albeit quite windy. Ten degrees. Did the usual library run, nothing on the agenda for the afternoon.

Elaine: hope the walk will help drive the blues away...
Yola: good news for Fifi! She looks small in her pics; do you know her weight?
Erin: have a good sleep...
Angie: all primed for the Quiz at 9 !!!!

I think it's about 4.15 kilos. She was 4.9 a year ago and that was a one of the reasons the vet wanted tests run; the rather rapid weight loss. She's not a big cat, but she's really solid and chunky.

Re: Daily Thread/Saturday

Afternoon, had a awful sleep today, the dogs have been really unsettled for some reason

Yola,I have thought about alternative therapies and ive not dismissed the idea but ill think ill wait untill ive seen the gastro and had the colonoscopy done and more serious conditions have been ruled out.Im starting to think it may be more of a gynecological problem though
Great news about Fifi
