Ollie has gone.

Sadly, Mike found Ollie dead in the duck pen this evening. Ollie was our first duck, he came 7 years ago, and was left over from the rare breed sale. He was going to have his kneck rung, until we said we would take him. He was a real character, who had a wellie boot fetish during the breeding season, and you had to be careful where you walked. He was fine earlier on today and eating well, but Mike found him curled up, he though he was a sleep, when he went to put them to bed. I feel so upset and sad for his girls- Daphne and Iris ( who was the one I was watching and concerned about )

Sorry Farthing . . . it's such a shame that our animal friends have to leave us.

Let's hope there are no wellies at Rainbow Bridge, eh?
