Good deed for the day

Well I'm really chuffed with myself today.

This morning for some reason I decided to ake a different route to town nd boy am I glad I did. A guy across the road was walking along with the most sweet looking Shizhu (sp)dog by his side not on lead. Anyway we were walking along and this dog crosses the road almost getting hit by an oncoming car. I call to the guy 'Excuse me m8 is this your dog' he calls back 'No luv, never seen it before' Anyways the dog now starts following me and this other guy. It followed about 4 of us into the town centre. No-one would grab hold of the dog for me as I could see it had a name tag. It was such a plesant little chappy and so sweet. I eventually caught up with the dog in the local Ferraris bakery. The girsl ushered it in my direction so I could get hold of him. He had a name tag and a phone number. I phoned the number and his owners came straight away to get him. Unfortunately their other dog wasn't with this shizu (sp) so I said I'd keep an eye out for their other dog but didn't see him

Anyway that was my good deed for the day and I'm really pleased with myself. The owners were overjoyed to find him and thanked me for keeping their little dog safe till they arrived.

Apparently this little lad is a clever so-and-so and managed to lift the catch on the gate to open it
