Daily Shred Thread / Sunday

Morning all, very cold and frosty here this morning.

Supposed to be riding out this morning but may let hubby ride instead. Don't think I want to brave the cold today

Not much else happening. Hubby built some fitted wardrobes in Em's room yesterday so just need to nip to B&Q to get a few bits to finish them off, other than that going to be a lazy day

Have a lovely relaxing Sunday everyone!

And my 2 new kittens are coming some time today - 3 months old, that's all I know about them. will post info and photos later.

Wet, nasty and miserable here
I didn't sleep very well . We had Chinese takeaway last night; I enjoyed it lots but wonder if MSG causes insomnia? I've been sleeping well lately so it's a disappointment to have a bad night.
Kittens Smudgley?????? - get baking that cake Mags! ..........and a caravan would be useful for you for overflow cats!

Hope everyone gets their chores done without any hitches and gets some good, Sunday chill time.

Hi everybody,

Well just had some breakfast and decided to go outside and do a spot of gardening....christ it is cold out there..quicky did what I needed to do and grabed my seeds and I have come indoors for a nice cup of tea!!! lol

I am going to have a look through my seeds (vegetables) and decide what I am going to plant in my two vegetable patches this year , no doubt I have got some very old seeds that need to be thrown away

There's no need to throw them Emma - those that germinate will be just a s good as 'this years'. The thing is that fewer and fewer germinate as time passes..........might be just as well to sow them thickly and see what happens?

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Sunday

thanks DM, a lot of the seeds I have were use by 2005 but I planned to use them anyway, the ones I was going to throw are some old flowers I have no space to sow.

I have got some herbs here I am going to have a go at growing on my windowsill

A lot of the veggies I grow are Mr Fothergills Mini veg, they are great
