Cody killed in RTA - Devastated

My poor poor Cody, on Thursday last week (it has taken till now for me to post without crying, although I still well up) was hit by a car and killed instantly. Our neighbour knocked on the door to break the news to us, my husband and I are devastated. We are both feeling guilty for letting her and her sister Skye out, but they enjoyed it so much. Skye seems to be coping quite well, better than me I think. It hurts me even more thinking that she is alone and I can't explain to her that Cody has gone! We have been looking to get a re-home of about the same age and breed, so I'll keep you updated on our search. It's horrible, as the last thing I feel like doing at the moment is viewing other cats as no one will replace Cody, she was such a large character and so loving.

I am so so sorry for your loss. As someone who has very recently gone through the same thing just wanted to say I'm thinking of you and know exactly what you are going through. Cody was beautiful xx
