Re: new here and needing help

I have not let Alexa out of my sight since I got her back this morning. I honestly thought it was a dream.

Now if I could just get her to get along with the dogs I'd be all set. Any ideas??? I have a basset hound and a cockerpoo.

Make sure she has lots of high places to jump onto so she can get away from the dogs is my advice!! Even feed her and have a bed up high somewhere!!

Re: new here and needing help

Hi Missie so glad you have got her back. I would get her microchipped as quick as poss.

Regarding the dogs - when I got my latest kitten Alfie I put him in the second bedroom and put a wire mesh gate in front of the doorway so that Alfie could see out and my dog could see in. There was a lot of whining on the part of my dog for a few hours but that passed and also Alfie got brave and came up to the mesh because he knew the dog couldn't "get him". That was on the Saturday by Sunday afternoon they were sharing space together in the living room and everything has been fine since and my dog is a lurcher!
