Katie not well

Our wee Katie isnt well. There was no blood in the urine this time but her protein level is high*

Back onto antibiotics*

You always know when something isnt right dont you, apart from increased episodes of wanting to go out more often over the past few days, I noted that she has lost weight again. She was doing so well on the K/D and had been off antibiotics from the beginning of Jan, feel disappointed as I thought we would get a bit longer before any further deterioration In her renal disease.*

Thanks Angie. I have just read your memorial to Merlin & see he too suffered from it. Its not easy watching them & knowing theres no cure.

The difference being that Merlin was a good age .... he started with struvite crystals and recurring bouts of cystitis.

Re: Katie not well

She ate better today & actually asked for an extra feed. Normally she has two tins of K/D a day - wont touch the dry kibble soaked or not, she would rather starve . This evening i gave her an extra half tin, was tempted to give the whole tin but thought perhaps not in case it made her sick so fingers crossed the a.biotics are starting to take over
